Why not? It's this type of mindnumbing repetition thats perfect for automation. And anet seems perfectly fine with people going afk for whole weekends for lucky/unlucky as well so not like they can say afk is bad. Either this or stack drunk time limits increased is good. Clicking 60 ales and then forgetting about it for an hour would be nice as well.

/sign. I got mine the old-fashioned way, but it'll give me incentive to use whatever alcs I get from now on (I've been giving mine to a friend going for it) on my characters instead of selling them for bottom dollar.
Another incentive for this is for hoarders of alcohol. The price for them will skyrocket as more people will be going for the title, with the ability to afk without the penalty of an account ban for using an auto-clicker.

Awesome idea - I'll get some storage space back and finally get Tier 2 out of the road. For some reason, I just can't get in the swing of clicking once a minute whilst playing. May also allow the GW2 Devs a chance to try out the whole Bar scenario ahead of time.

The only two things I want for drunkard are the following ones:
- More time drunk.
Now, you can stay drunk only 3 minutes, any drinks over that would be wasted. You should be able to drink enough to stay drunk at least 20 minutes or so, so you don't have to check during battle.
- Effect icon for all drinks.
Now, only grog has an effect icon. The other drinks don't have one. ALL should have an effect icon.
I don't want a bot to make it for me, I want to make it myself, but I don't have to have to choose between drinking and playing.

Drunkard is the most mind-numbing titles of all.
Its easy for some to remember to click every 60 seconds while adventuring but not all.

If there's another title that's more mind-numbing, I'm not sure what it might be.

Would be cool too if you could buy kegs/alcohol of various levels from an alcohol npc in the pub.

This would be great, especially if it had related quests and collectors, notable drunkard related characters (bear hunters, zehtuka) and even a house brew. Also you have to be lvl 18 or over to get in. Love this idea.

Make it so you have to be lvl 21 to get in (makes as much sense as bumping this thread)
/1 Star a better solution exists already...double-click

The reason he wants to do this is because sitting in a town double clicking or having to re-open your inventory every 45 seconds for 6.5 days worth of time is no one's idea of fun. It's just a grind, which is exactly what Guild Wars was created to avoid. From the first concept design, it was supposed to be an MMORPG that you didn't have to grind.
To me, if you want the Drunkard Title and you have the money for it, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to afk and get it. It's just a stupid title. You don't get a bonus reward for having Incorrigable Ale-Hound, or even GWAMM. You don't get special green weapons, gold, bonus storage panes, or ultra-elite skills. You just get words under your name.

Your math is completely off. It takes maybe an hour of double clicking to get max title from scratch (variable as some give 1 point and others 3) how did you get 6.5 days???????????

I maxed the title in 30 minutes:
- Windows control panel -> Enable mouse keys -> Press and hold the keyboard key assigned to Double-click-> Wait 20..30 minutes -> Done.
Most problems with this title have been solved (excepting being able to stay drunk longer when using PvE skills that benefit from drunkeness), and with the strongboxes there are even 50-point drinks now to make things easier.

How is sitting in town literally doing absolutely nothing a good source of fun? I get frustrated when things don't make sense to me. HINT: I am really frustrated right now. What is wrong with people? This is what they consider fun???
*you must get frustrated a lot then...*
Good one troll

This suggestion no longer has relevance because it was made in a time when the title worked differently. So that this thread can never be bumped again, it will now be
